General terms and conditions relating to events
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the legal relationship existing between the GDI Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute (the Event Organizer) and its customers (the Participants) in relation to all agreements concluded between the parties. Any provisions by a Participant that are in conflict with these GTC are hereby explicitly excluded.
Conclusion of an agreement via www.gdi.ch
By submitting an order via the Participant makes a legally binding offer to conclude an agreement. The agreement is concluded when the Event Organizer accepts this offer by sending an order confirmation by e-mail or by post. By submitting the order, the Participant materially acknowledges the GTC.
Participation fee
The fee has to be paid in advance. The price depends on the number of participants registered together from the same firm. Any further participants subsequently registered from the same firm are billed separately. Participants registering two weeks or less before the event can only pay by credit card. Food & beverages are included (exept for seminars which don’t take place at GDI).
Changes to the programme
The programme is subject to change. If an event does not take place, fees are refunded. Further claims are ruled out.
Cancellation
If you are unable to attend, please let us have your cancellation in writing.
- Evening events: by cancellations received no later than five full working days before the event, we will reimburse the full fee.
- Conferences and seminars: by cancellations received until thirty days before the event, we will reimburse the full participation fee. After this term and until five full working days prior to the event we will charge 75% of the fee. In case of later cancellations we will charge the full participation fee.
A substitute participant is always welcome.
Payment
Payment is only possible by credit or debit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Data protection
With regard to the gathering, processing and utilization of personal data, the Event Organizer and any third party mandated by the Event Organizer to handle data management shall comply with the provisions of Swiss data protection legislation.
Applicable law/place of juristinction
All obligations resulting from this contractual relationship are subject to Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zurich.

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the legal relationship existing between the GDI Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute (the Vendor)) and its customers (Buyers) in relation to all agreements concluded between the parties. Any provisions by a Buyer that are in conflict with these GTC are hereby explicitly excluded.
The offer
The Vendor's offer is non-binding. The range of items and their prices are subject to change, including technical change. All prices are determined by the price in Swiss francs (CHF).
Conclusion of an agreement via www.gdi.ch
By submitting an order via , the Buyer makes a legally binding offer to conclude an agreement. The agreement is concluded when the Vendor accepts this offer by sending an order confirmation by e-mail or by delivering the item. By submitting the order, the Buyer materially acknowledges the GTC.
Prices
All prices are given in Swiss francs (CHF). They include VAT and are net. Shipping costs are included for consignments within Europe.
Payment
Orders are only possible with a credit or debit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Delivery
Any inf0rmation relating to availability and delivery periods are not binding unless confirmed in writing by the Vendor. Stocks permitting, delivery is generally effected on weekdays within two to four working days. If delivery is delayed by more than 30 days, the Buyer is entitled to withdraw from the agreement. The Vendor is not liable for any delays in delivery that have been caused by third parties.
Intellectual property rights and brand rights
Intellectual property rights and other such rights to the item(s), particularly copyright, etc., are not affected by the purchase agreement.
Guarantee
The Buyer must notify the Vendor of any obvious defects no later than eight days after receipt, while any defects discovered at a later date must be notified as soon as possible; otherwise the item shall be deemed to be accepted. The defective item must be returned, along with a copy of the invoice and a full description of the defect, to the following address: GDI Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute, Langhalden- strasse 21, CH-8803 Rüschlikon
If the item is under guarantee, the Vendor shall decide whether to cancel the agreement or exchange the item. Damage for which the Buyer alone is liable, for instance due to improper handling, natural wear-andtear or external factors over which the Vendor has no control, are excluded from the guarantee.
